need some help setting up static routes on a hg659 router

im using dsl

i have entered the right settings but they are not working right

in admin mode

under internet - routing rules - static routing i put

Destination network address :108.175.32.0
Destination subnet mask:255.255.240.0
Default gateway : 192.168.1.1
Source IP address : 192.168.1.2
Source subnet mask : 255.255.255.255
Interface : internet_adsl

i rebooted the router a few times etc
change the interface
but no luck at blocking

is this a bug in the router ??

does  not work with 255.255.255.0

i get

"Source IP address and source subnet mask do not match."

it has to be 255.255.255.255 since it only 1 ip in the range

and if i use 192.168.168.0 - 255.255.255.0

it still doesnt work

This is what I have been asked :

What are they actually trying to do and what is actually happening when they try to pass traffic from that IP?

In the link, it says leave source subnet and subnet mask blank and to not select the interface the same as what you are using (eg don’t choose ADSL if he uses ADSL). Can you please try this.

i did a few test

i made 6 static routes 1 for each interface

each with

Destination network address :8.8.8.8
Destination subnet mask:255.255.255.255
Default gateway : 192.168.1.1
 and rebooted the router

none of the static routes work at all

so there is a bug or the static routes are turned off in the software

using the latest firmware V100R001C206B020
