Some time in the last few days, my home wireless network has become invisible to some of the devices that normally connect.
My household has a variety of android phones and windows laptops (mix of xp, Win7 and Win8). The phones can see the SSID of the network and can connect OK. Two laptops (Win7 and Win 8) are no longer able to see the network SSID in the available networks list. They can see the neighbours networks IDs fine. One of the Win8 laptops works fine and can see the network OK.
I can connect to the router via a cable and it works with no problem.
I have tried various resets, reboots, driver reinstalls, system rollbacks on the PCs, renamed the SSID, selected a different channel and am now out of ideas.
Any more suggestions - or even better - solutions?

Yes I have listed them both under seperate SSID's for the past year and a half, the 2.4 GHz just went dark on me completely last night. I have tried manually changing channels, switching one on and one off. Resetting the router, and the box @ the wall in the garage, but no results yet. In the router configuration even when the 5 GHz is set to off, the light is still blinking so I'm not exactly sure if it's a router is now faulty or what. I'm still running the original firmware it got shipped with though.

Give this a go and see if it helps

Just updated to the latest firmware, the 2.4GHz band is still unseen on my phone / desktop / laptop. I changed the SSID's on both again and still only the 5GHz band can be detected only on my phone.

This is what it looks like without logging in. No idea why it says Internet unavailable though. Hard to run only on a 2 metre ethernet cable when there's many other devices in the house that utilizes the wifi.
