WiFi connecting to printer

Hi.

Two days ago, my I use to be able to see two different connections from my modem one ending with D103 and the other being D103-5.
I can now only see the D103-5 connection.
Since this change have had to 'rejoin my devices to the modem.
Everything has worked successfully except my printer is unable to find the connection. It gets all my neighbour's modems, but not mine.
Can you please advise what I need to do.

Thanks.

@Michaela1

Thanks for your post. Has anything else changed? Sounds like your 5Ghz channel is the only one showing and I suspect your printer can only support the 2.4GHz. It'll be worth logging into the modem to check that the 2.4GHz channel is active for Wi-Fi.

Steps for logging into the modem etc are covered in this Modem FAQ

  1. Click on the Start button go to the start menu and then Devices and Printers.
  2. Click on add a printer.
  3. Printer local wizard click to add a printer
  4. Choose a printer port page, with an existing port page then after the click to the next button.
  5. Install printer driver page and after that select next
    • Update your window and after that check for a window, additional device
    • click has disk and then browse to the pointer location
  6. Complet the rest of the steps and after that click on finish
