Vodafone HG659 Modem

Hi, having trouble connecting to wifi - I connected all cables as said but for some reason the internet keeps saying 'Broadband is still activating, please wait 60mins then restart or call the Vodadone care team..' I waited 60mins & restarted but the msg keeps coming up. Vodafone sent me a txt yesterday. Which said the broadband would be activated today - but it's not working? Any suggestions?

Is your internet working for you now or are you still getting the 'Broadband activating' message?

I rang the care team. My internet is up and running but I'm still getting the 'Broadband activating' message. They're sending chorus to check the cables - funny thing, my old modem was working good but this new one isn't. (Can't use old modem now though).
