Older WiFi Modem

HI There

I think I put this query in the wrong location before.

I have been with VF since 2 0 1 1 and my Hauwai modem is the same as when I first signed up.  Is it necessary to review this modem and perhaps update it?  I assume the software on it is updated by VF but am unsure about the process.  Any help gratefully received.  I am particularly thinking about the security of the modem now. Thanks

Hi @Fantail18

Click here to see if there is a faster connection such as VDSL or UFB is available at your address. If you were to sign a new 12 month contract  and upgrade your connection a new modem would be supplied. If you have any further questions feel free to get in contact with our sales team on 0800 438 448.

Hi Hamish,

I think there is a faster connection to my address but I am happy to stay with ADSL.  All I would really like to know is, if my modem is secure?

Hi there,

Just an an update on this question regarding is my modem secure.

Have just got a new iPad and get a message saying that my WPA connection may not be secure and to change to WPA2 Personl AES Security Type.  Can I do this and, if so how?

Any help gratefully received.  Thanks.
