Key Reinstallation Attacks (KRaCK) on the HG659

Key Reinstallation attacks (KRaCKs) affecting the WPA2 security standard are becoming a publically known issue.

Does the August B026 firmware update for the HG659 address the vulnerability? There seem to be no release notes published alongside firmware updates.

If not, is Vodafone currently working on a fix for the issue?

Apparently nothing Huawei is patched at the moment: http://www.kb.cert.org/vuls/byvendor?searchview&Query=FIELD+Reference=228519&SearchOrder=4 which is not a good sign. Doubt Vodafone have even heard of the problem...

@aidanw1

Thanks for your post - answer here - but spoken with Huawei and HG659 is not at risk from KRACK and no firmware update etc required.

Cheers
