Hey guys Iv two of the same routers and would like to connect one to the other via Ethernet cable ( from one side of the house to our shed in the garden . I have a 70 ft cable . So I'm trying to find a simple enough way to set up the two routers together here but getting it a little hard to understand . I think it's a matter of going into the IP addresses and setting it up from there . Could someone please tell me how to do this . Thank you .. !!!

Hi there Smiley Happy

You need to disable DHCP on one of the modems and connect from one modems LAN 1,2,3 or 4 to the other modems LAN 1, 2,3 or 4.

You will need to log into the modems interfaces to do so;

On the Modem you want to use as the wireless access point;

1. Plug into the lan port or connect to modems wireless

2. Go to http://192.168.1.1 on your web browser, log in is user and pwd is HuaweiUser by default

3.Go to BASIC -> LAN > DHCP SERVER : DISABLE then hit SUBMIT button.

4. Plug into Lan port on router you are using for internet mainly.

Voila.

Any questions, just ask me ^-^
