I'm an Australian who picked up a prepay SIM while over in Auckland for business (last month). Heading back to the West Island this week and likely not back to NZ until early next year (fingers crossed).
Can I put my plan on hold while back in Ozland and then just reactivate when I come back?
Can I do so for no cost? i.e. or is it just better/cheaper if I let it lapse and get a new plan when I'm over in NZ again?
This will (hopefully) be a regular thing with most of my time in Oz but frequent weekly or fortnightly trips each month to NZ.

Unfortunately you will not be able to put any prepaid plan on hold
Prepay sims are avtive for a year from teh date of top up and you can use them when you are back in NZ by just topping up and renewing the plan.

thanks for that - so I won't have to pay anything until I get back to NZ and then I just need to check the balance and top up if needed? And I can do that until the SIM expires in Sep 2018?
