Prepay Top Up Frequency

Hi there,

I'm currently overseas and not using my Vodafone number (currently on prepay), however the number is connected to my NZ bank account so I need it active. I also want to keep the number for when I return to NZ. How long after the most recent top up until my number is deactivated and I lose it forever?

Thanks for your post, hope the travels are going well.
Your number will remain active for 365 days, you can top up online if need be.

Hey Mike

Each time you top up, does that extend the active period for the phone number by another 365 days?

I'm also overseas and would like to keep my number. I don't expect to be back in NZ for 18 months, but am happy to chuck a $20 on it every 11 months if this means I will keep my number. I'm aware I might lose the $20 though.

Thanks.

Hi @GeoffreyDickman

Yes that is correct. You should be fine if you top up 11 months after your previous top up.

Regards
