Help with large bill

So I recently lost my phone that i was on the Red+ Plan and when I went to check if I could claim my insurance and came across my $2000+ bill. I've been living in Australia for the past 5 months and thought that money was going out of my NZ account automatically, but due to my debit card being temporarily deactivated, nothing was going out. I never saw the e-mailed bills as they were going to spam for some reason and I had an australian number in the phone so I wasn't getting text alerts either. Is there any way of just paying off the phone which would be a whole lot easier than paying off this $2000+ bill?
