APN settings for MMS

Hi 

I am unable to receive MMS containing pictures because apparently the APN settings are wrong.  I tried usong the tool on the Vodafone website but the security check wouldnt work; kept telling me the digits I entered were incorrect, when clearly they were OK and I tried about 10 or 12 times.

Can someone tell me how to enter the required settings please?

Phone is Vodafone Smart Ultra 7, running android 6

Sorry the tool didn't work, will check on that.

 

To setup APN settings on Android Devices

- Press Main
- Select Settings
- Select Wireless and Networks
- Select Mobile Networks
- Select Access point Names
- Delete all APN’s in this section.
- Press Menu
- Press New APN
- Enter the follow settings one for General Data – The other for MMS

Name: VFNZ Web
APN: vodafone
Proxy: 
Port: 
Username: 
Password:
Server:
MMSC:
MMS Proxy:
MMS Port:
MMS Protocol: WAP 2.0
MCC: 530
MNC: 01
Authentication Type:
APN Type: default, supl

PXT Messaging MMS:
Name: MMS
APN: live.vodafone.com
Proxy: 
Port: 
Username: 
Password:
Server: 
MMSC: http://pxt.vodafone.net.nz/pxtsend
MMS Proxy: 172.30.38.3

Hi Mike

Thanks for that info. One question, the item MMS Protocol (WAP 2.0)  does not appear in the list of either the APNs for general data or MMS.  Is this important?
