New Vodafone RED plans -higher data limits

Hi

I have just been told by customer service that new VF RED plans are coming within two weeks to directly compete with Sparks new high data offering (mobile plans with allowances up to 20GB).

They said they weren't currently allowed to mention specific details but that I should not jump ship yet.

Can you please give me more information or a release date?

Thanks

Hi @jjnz1

I'm pretty sure no one will be able to say due to NDA.

I'm interested to know too! I was looking at changing to Spark and said so on Twitter - Vodafone said there was "a huge surprise coming soon" and then another source said end of the week for the announcement, potentially. Interested to see what they offer in terms of data. I don't know why mobile providers make such a song and dance out of limitless texts and minutes - does anyone even care about that anymore? All I care about is data.

It wont be carry over for On Account if that's what you're thinking.

Do you mean carry-over like taking left over data from 1 month's usage into the next?

I am not interested in carry over data, just more than 10GB I currently receive!

15GB or even 20GB would be great!

From what my sister tells me it's common to get like 15GB per month, she was shocked at how small data caps are here for mobile.

Hmmm, wonder if the existing plans are getting an update or there are new plans forthcoming? Pondering going 24 month plan and getting a new iPhone, but hesitating with new plans around the corner.

Don't get the iphone till after the new plans come out, that way you get a new plan to go with you're new iphone Smiley Happy
