Hi VF,

 

I have my mobile account with VF, and am currently on Skinny's mobile broadband via the Spark network (100GB/month) - am considering having one bill and everything with VF.

 

However, the downsides:

Modem - VF use the Huawei B315 modem. So do Skinny. You charge $199 for it, they charge $99.

Pricing - Skinny is $52/100GB with no plan. You are $75/120GB

 

What sets VF's offering apart from Skinny's?

I'd be prepared to pay slightly extra for the data if the speed was better, but paying an extra $100 for the very same modem (unless I'm missing something here) is questionable.

@SteveYThanks Steve - appreciate the reply and acknowledgement about the response time (leaves me with a warm fuzzy).

 

I'll give it a shot later on this month and see how it compares and use the network guaruntee if need be. I presume like other on account products I can put it on hold for $10/month (max 3months in a 12 month period)?

You're correct about suspension, although we did recently change things to remove the $10 per month fee now, so it's free to suspend for upto 3 months once in a 12 month period Smiley Happy
