For some time now my emails from my clear account will not send. I am however receiving them. I was using send.clear.net.nz and changed it to smtp.clear.net.nz and have tried changing the clear to vodafone but so luck.
What is the problem do you think?

Possibly have the wrong settings. the correct settings for emails for clear should be;
If using another providers broadband you will need authentication. Otherwise no authentication required. We are experiencing some issues atm as Mike said but you might need to update your password as well. Does it come up with any error messages or anything? Also what program / email client do you use? If it's webmail it's related to current outage.

A fix was put in place. Is it all emails or just some?

Its all of them. I can recieve ok, but cannot send. I have reset everything to the settings described elsewhere on here - port 25, smtp.clear.net.nz, password authentication on and no SSL - and now, instead of the "server does not allow relay" message, it tries to send for about 20 minutes and then fails.

Im at work now, and have been usingthe Wifi here. I've just switched it off, and reverted to my 2degrees 4G - and it works.
Does that mean that i need an additional SMTP server configured that is compatble with my work wifi? I work at the UoA - not sure who our provider is but I will find out.
