We’ve got some very exciting news! The software that runs this forum is going to be changed from IP.Board to Lithium.

So – what will change?

New look and feel. Lithium will have the same look as our main www.vodafone.co.nz website so it will be easier to move between the two.

Heaps of new features. Lithium includes heaps of community features, including giving Kudos for helpful answers and different access levels over time. Also improved functionality, e.g. a particular reply can be marked as an “answer” so readers can find solutions to problems more easily.

We’re moving across as much content as possible, but we’re also taking the opportunity for some spring cleaning. You might notice some sections of the forum have been consolidated recently and there’ll be a few similar changes before we make the move.

The move will happen in the next few months and we’re preparing everything for it now. We’re really excited about the extra functionality it’ll bring. Of course let us know if you have any questions!

Cheers

Dylan

Nope

You won't need to re-register but you will need to reset your password. We've got more info in a second post here:

Good move, may I ask why the move from IP.Board? Something didn't work out there I see?

My review of the new forum:

PROS:

Firstly, I was very happy with the white theme.  When I first loaded it up I was all "Hmmmm, white.  Not sure I can handle this" but as I tested it a bit more, ensuring my eyes could still move left to right and read the little characters (words, I think they're called) I began to realise that my brain wasn't screaming in agony at me and that this would be well acceptable.

CONS:

I can't be a pink chicken anymore.  The upset and hurt this causes me is indescribale. So indescribale that I can't spell indescribble at all.  That's how upset I am.

Basically if you don't fix this Vodafone I am moving to Telecomdegress and saying bad things about you to my cat, who is the only person left in the world who'll still talk to me.

I REFUSE to be a Brocolli.
