Hi @Aj240 - It sounds like you're connecting via Wifi. Can you plug your computer in and do a test over an Ethernet cable? The speed limitation is most likely a setting on your Wifi adapter on your computer. Let me know what happens with the Ethernet cable.

Well spotted. 54.49 up 9.55 down. Much better.

Now I need to get a AC wifi adapter to improve the wireless speed. I am running on N at present but the router is AC compliant.

Thanks for your help.

i have just gotten VDSL from ADSL and the upload speeds on the new conection(about 1.30 Mb/s) are not much better than before(.9 Mb/s). i hope that we can get appropriate VDSL upload speeds.

@skipper13First off did you have a master filter installed at time of getting VDSL?

Having poor house wiring and moving from ADSL to VDSL is just going to cause headaches, VDSL requires perfect house wiring for good performance, Check out the below thread on tech community www.geekzone.co.nz

There is no master filter in this house. I would need to sort that out with the landLord. Would the Internet be running better then or does the whole house need to have good wiring
