@MikeHales I've got the latest but still get issues as I've mentioned to you before. Have you looked into it with the tech guys regarding my internet connection yet? I pm'd you. Thanks

I have the latest firmware but:

- it still resets the access password to the default every time I recycle the power.

- The static IP doesn't seem to work at all.

Is there a modem/router around that is compatible with the Vodafone network that doesn;t have these problems and in addition provides a Guest connection and provides SMTP data?

I don't mind paying for one that works properly.  The Ultra Hub is pretty "Mickey Mouse".

What do the other ISPs use?

@latimers

- password reset is to be fixed in next firmware after CRF731 which is the current latest

- The static IP thing works - as I've found make sure the device names dont have a : (colon) in the name as it breaks it

Pretty much most routers work on vodafone. Im using the Ultra Hub though as nothing else I've tried is better for wifi.

I had a lot of hope for this device but have had endless hassles setting it up. Most have been covered in this thread but it seems like the testing of the firmware prior to release is very poor. I'm running the CRF731 firmware but can't find settings for:

1. Transimit power

2. Bridge mode

Due to it only having 3 LAN ports and the location of the VDSL point in my house I want to run this hub as a WIFI access point connected to the rest of my LAN downstream of my current modem but without bridge mode can't get this to work.

Are there plans to add the above functions?

Transmit power and bridge mode aren't included and no plans to include them from what I've been told.

Not really testing issue there - its a specification thing.
