Yes, it was working yesterday when I was using my previous Vodafone Router...
Did you turn on hard drive sharing in the router menu? It is off by default

Solved: I had to connect the power to the external Hard Drive

I looks to me that the Parental Control only applies to wired devises (LAN)
Is it possible to get a copy of the firmware development tools so I can extend the Parental Control to chromebooks (WiFi only)?
Many Thanks
Keith

It works on wired and wifi devices. I have it set up on both and it works.(firmware crf731)
I doubt you'll get tools to get into vodafone firmware.

Ours is staying in the box. With only 3 LAN connections, it's useless for our needs. We currently use all 4 of the LAN ports on our old hg659. This is a bit of a backward step on Vodafones part. Someone obviously didn't look at the spec.

I just got one of these modems. However I do have a few questions.
1) can you upload the firmware somewhere, I am running verison 17.1.7875-2461002-CRF731 however would be nice to have the firmware files.
2) I want to set this up for remote access, How can I setup access to this modem remotly as well as move it off port 80.
3) I can see there is an "Assistanace" Tab that can do what I want in question 2, however forces a unwanted password (hard to remember) and username on me and also forces port 55794, can this be ajusted to be changable?
