I have been with Vodafone for around 5 years already.
I recently got a new modem from you guys and extended my contract.
But lately the connection has been very frustrating. Sometimes, when I speedest, it doesn't even load the website!
Netflix, browsing = frustrating.
Did something happen to my account? Can you guys move me something more stable box or something? Send me a PM to get my account details.

Hi there Sinus, if you can email your details (including those screenshots if possible) then we'll take a look.
When you resigned was your service changed? I.E. change to VDSL or Fibre?

Hi it's been already 2 weeks since I posted the orignal message. I would say it is better but still very frustrating. I have been restarting my modem several times a day since then.
It does not get "disconnected". When I go to the web admin panel, it still says green. But internet is pretty useless before I restart it. It just says "Resolving host' before I restart it.
It is still the same aDSL connection. I do not have fibre yet. I just got the new modem.
I will email you the details after submitting this reply. Hope this gets sorted.

If you're using wireless, can you connect a computer with a network cable to your router and run a speed test at http://www.speedtest.net/ and let us know the results you get and monitor the connection.If it's more stable with the cable connected please try the steps outlined on the following link: http://bit.ly/HGChannels

The speedtest results are okay. It is the frequent restarts that I need to do because it just says "Resolving host" when browsing. Let me try the different channels from link in previous comment. HTanks!

Could you also try with a computer connected via the netwrok cable to see if it you get the "Resolving host" message as well.

I tested it. 1 laptop connected via LAN cable - still the same problem.
Can you see something wrong from your end? Just want to make sure that as a last option, I'd probably head out to PB Tech and buy a cheap DLink modem or something - and things get better when I use it.

Well it's been weeks now. Pretty patient. Still I have to restart the modem several times a day!
The modem is new. I never had this problem with the old one until it got broken.
Is it possible that the new modem is faulty?
Can vodafone send me another one?
Jesus h. christ, this is really annoying. Restart after restart.

Dont think its your Modem man I think its the exchange... I am having the same problem having to reset aleast 2 or 3 times a day ever since they installed Fibre in my street up until then I have not had a problem at all
