My landline is not working, and vodafone will send a technical guy to our home. Do I need to pay?

There is no charge if the fault is on the Chorus network. The only time you may need to pay what is known as a 'no fault found' fee is if the technician tests and finds that the problem is with your own equipment. (For example, if he determines that the reason your landline isn't working is because your phone is faulty, they may charge a callout fee.) This possibility is usually eliminated if the correct troubleshooting and isolation test has been completed. Smiley Happy

Hope that helps.
