Frequent restarts needed for FibreX modem

Since moving to FibreX, I've had to restart the FibreX modem frequently to reconnect to the internet; typically once per week.

 

Latest instance was today when it disconnected approx 1530 while I was browsing the interne. All lights were on but no traffic was being passed. Unplug and plug back in again and the internet resumes as expected.

 

Is this to be expected? I never had this issue on the old cable connection. I also had this issue using the default Vodafone HG659 router as well with the TP-Link C2300 that I've been using for the past 2 weeks.

Hi, happened again this morning.
Am I correct that this forum is used to raise tech support issues (since there no longer appears to be an email or any other on-line support path) and I can expect some formal help... or do I need to join the back of a typical 10-15 minute phone queue to talk to someone?

Just to be clear; the modem I have is the Vodafone Technicolor TC400VDF, not the Technicolor 7210D that has been tagged to the original post.

Apologies for the mis-tagging.

Was the TC400 supplied by us? Sounds like we need to replace it and yes you can get technical support here.

Hi - yes the TC4400 was Vodafone supplied
