That isn't the only issue.. you have to look through the pages of spam in the webmail folder to make sure legitimate emails haven't been incorrectly classified

agreed. BUT to be able to do that you have to have a SPAM folder. When I created a new cleat.net email address a week ago, things worked properly for a few days, then BROKE. Over the weekend I was told that my missing trademe email were "properly" redirected to my spam folder. Yet even using webmail, this spam folder is invisible, if it actually exists.

Just about to crack 1000 forwarded spams,many from my dear friend Sandra Li who emails me every day... (li@securedark.com) She seems lovely as she is always offering me great deals and free offers ... As opposed to the F**k Buddy requests and penisole / cialis / xenical emails my son gets every day.

If I can recognise them and the Apple mail can recognise them,why cant Vodafone ?My work account gets one or two spams a day,usually angling for web services etc yet my personal accounts are being bombarded by this!!

Not sure if Fair Go is the answer or the Fair Trading Act for advertising a "Community" it really is a joke from a communications company and shows that the interest is where the money is at and not the customers interests.

Again if we had email portability we would have a whole different response.

I realise this is now just venting as nothing has changed since this post started,time to weigh up the hassles of changing everyones emails over the pain of this spam.

Sick of all the SPAM email coming through.  I have been forwarding 'missed spam' for months.  There's never any feedback so never too sure what's happening (if anything!) to fix this problem.  Sort it out Vodafone or we too will be looking for another IP.  .... clear.net customer.

I'm still getting lots of spam, some days more spam than legitimate emails. This has been going on for months now. Please Vodafone, get some effective spam filters. Other ISPs seem to be able to do it - why can't Vodafone? Oh, having just read Mike Hales' latest missive, I see that Vodafone has only two engineers. Maybe they need to employ more while the spam onslaught continues.

Spam still getting through and also 7 pages of spam in webmail folder so their has been a huge increase.  Almost like a form of denial of service attack. Vodafone, how about some real action here.

@anzac1957

of course the spams still getting theough. Did you really think Vodafone was going to fix this.

They spout of about "new" filters etc but its all bulls**t. OUT AND OUT BULLSH**T

They will never fix this.

And the spam that is in the webmail spam foilder is suppoose to be their. It wont be deleted. THATS were it goes. Does not matter if you have a Gmail. Outlook or Hotmail, Spark, 2degrees, or anyother ISP email account.

ANY spam that is picked up will always got to a spam/junk folder.

Of course they will not tell anyone anything as THEY DO KNOW THEMSELVES

Like headless chooks running around
