@JulieS

Moved my email accross to Gmail months ago and have that check the Clearnet account.

Given up on Clearnet emails.

Only thing was going thorugh the different websites and changing them...that was a pain.

Happy with Voadafone as my phone and braodband. Never had any problems in that area, so will stay with them there, just given up on Clearnet !

I have other email accts and have increased my use of those but still have things coming to clearnet.
I think as a Vodafone customer I pay them alot of money each year to provide a service that includes an efficient email, which it seems is not a priority for Vodafone, if we just change our emails but continue to pay the same for their other services what incentive do they have to modernise and reliably provide this service. I'm hoping that the end of July sees this sorted as recently promised.

Hear that ?

The long silence from Vodafone about this Spam problem that is not going away...

You have an international brand,strong local infrastructure and purchased a company that had a loyal customer base who had chosen to go with someone who fought to offer more and shake up the establishment.

Invest the money and instead of chasing new customers how about looking after and rewarding the ones you have who helped put you in this position.

The world is rapidly changing and if you cant find a way to hold onto your customer base and earn their loylaty then a new pretender will come along and change the playing field ......think Blackberry , Nokia , Motorola .....

Just step up and show you care !!

So four weeks and the communication does not seem to of improved and the F@#k Buddy requests to my 10 year old son dont seem to of dimished.

As a 50 year old male I can understand that some may think that Viagra and Cialis are needed but I can assure you that they are not,probably the only thing impacting on that aspect of my life is the time spent forwarding on spam to your filter.......

OK so thats all a bit of a joke,but seriously where are we going with this issue ? and where is the communication ? (which one would kind of think was a key cornerstone of your business)

There needs to be a clear statement over time frames and results and if not achieved then Clearnet customers need to start withholding payment until the service is delivered to us as it is to the other brands under the Vodafone umbrella (which from my point of view does not look up to scratch to keep us all dry)

Just make it work and tell us what is going on !! MikeHales

@Fra

Theres no good b**ching about it.

Vodafone is in a league of their own and will do what they want when they want.

Not you, nor I or anybody else can do anything about it!!

Sometime ago I emailed them as I changed my password on my accounts. DID NOT even get a verififcation email to say it had been changed, so I contacted them about it.

ANY other organization would send an email to verifiy OR alert you that the password had been changed.

Vodafone came back and said that the email system was a (sorry cant remember the exact words) by-product that they didnt really need but offered anyway. Almost sounded like it was a system they could do without. !!

I contacted @MikeHales on 14th July asking for an update but have heard nothing (yet)

Have contacted them 3 times about all the **bleep** garbage spam coming through, and each time the same asnwer, we are workingon a new system to stop it. The first email I sent them was about 12 weeks ago, so they have shown they don't give a **bleep** and have actually not done a **bleep** thing.

Just a quick update to this thread that new filters have now been deployed and we're seeing some real improvements in regard to filtering spam. Hopefully you're not noticing anything except the absence of spam!

Cheers

I hope this is the start of some improvements but it has been long overdue and there has been a real lack of commucication (if not silence over the last two weeks) Weeks of forwarding on spam should hopefully of set your filters up to do the job.
