Like you , thought about looking to change the provider . Saw some similar threads on trade me..I must admit it occurred to me that a lot of folks would be thinking this way now.. I have to wonder if it had been the main Vodafone site would it be taking this long to fix? Clear and paradise customer's are only 'small' voices in comparison. Such a hassle to change email addresses though.

I no longer empty my Spam folder as it automatically empties every 2-3 days. I consistently get about 100 a day in this folder and only 1 or 2 a day in the inbox.

Anyone else finding that spam seems to be getting to the inbox more regularly ?
Up until Wed 28th June it was fine then as of yesterday, its bad again

Guess we'll be given the same spiel "forward any spam to firstname.lastname@example.org" like before!

Yes, we have made a series of upgrades to our email servers and seen a good improvement but we're not finished yet and so there will be more improvements over the next 2-3 weeks so that we can get to a much better position for email users.
No, we're not focused on one platform over the other or trying to force change from one to another.
I've been speaking directly with our engineers and they're working hard to improve spam filtering every day.
But still, when it's looking good and no spam getting to the inbox then it starts happening again, makes you give up at times

I am still getting vast quantities of spam, mainly in my spam folder, but also in my inbox. As I only use webmail, this is very unsatifactory. I agree 100% with the sentiments expressed regarding clear.net and paradise email accounts. I too, believe that this is happening as an 'incentive' to move toward a vodafone email address. Why else would users have to put up with intolerable quantities of unsolicited email for months without a satisfactory resolution? As I have previoiusly mentioned, I have 6 email accounts, and the only one that I pay for, is the one causing me grief. The other 5 different accounts have no spam issues. Mail gets delivered in a consistent and timely fashion. I think it is time to seriously think about moving my main email account somewhere else, and to actively search for a new ISP. After a decade or two with Vodafone, I am reluctant to change, but this situation is showing no signs of improving any time soon.

Can someone from Vodafone / Clear please tell my why you are unable to block emails with words such as Viagra in the subject line? I have a fresh batch of spam today and some are so obviously spam it really makes me wonder what is going on. Is it that hard to check for a single word in the subject line? Do you even have a filter set up to block emails about "Viagra"? This is now very, very, very frustrating. If other companies can block spam, why can't you? Will you give reductions on monthly bills if this is not solved soon?

Can you please give us an update on why the spam problem seems to be getting worse.
Since Weds the spam is getting through again in numbers, and frankly its getting very frustrating and annoying.
I lodged a complaint back on the 10th June about this (170610-000651) and have now re-opened it and want it escalated to someone that CAN give a proper answer.

I'm very sorry to hear that spam odds on the rise. I will review the complaint and pass that upwards. Additionally, I will check I with the email engineers to get an update.

The spam emails seeme to be increasing (29) as of the 28th June. 1st of July I have received another 17 spams this morning.
I really hope you (vodafone) don't have the audacity to send out a bill for this disasterous state of affairs.
I think along with your other clear and paradise customers I have been more than patient with you - nothing seems to have changed over the last three months.
The weak excuse that your engineers are working on the issues - "are they"? along with the worthless apologies and deadlines to have the issue sorted you keep throwing out.
I see you were very quick to congratulate Emirates Team NZ on their win, yet your core customers who pay your wages are left in the dark.
If other ISP's can control this sort of attack perhaps you should lower yourselves to go and ask for help - remember the add "it's OK to ask for help". Do the right thing for your customers.
Can you not put a filter on specific words that will block these spams - surely it can't be that hard for words like viagra, penisole, levitra, depression, etc.
Ever thought of telling us the truth for a change.
This is my plan:
* I am not paying any more of your bills until the issue is resolved and I would encourage all those affected to start a revolt against vodafone, 'together we can be strong'
* I am going to the Newspapers and highlight how weak you have been on this issue - empty promises, I have kept all the spams all 427 so far.
* I am going to change providers because you seem to refuse to engage with those affected, I would suggest others do the same as well.
What you are doing vodafone is theft by charging us for a service that does not work.
What weak excuse will Mark Hales come up with next.
