I've been a paradise customer for nearly 20 years and use paradise email on a regular basis.
As yet I have not received the email closure notice from Vodafone.
I do not like my emails being scanned and used for marketing purposes by an overseas company such as Google or Microsoft.
I there a New Zealand based email provider that you recomend?
Spark seems to have a good solution for their customers, could Vodafone do the same?

Yes that is correct but please allow a couple of days for the redirect to take effect.

Vodafone have copped out, unlike Spark who after suffering similar problems have migrated their 800,000 email users to a NZ based email specialist without any disruption or changes. To quote them "we have made the investment instead of leaving customers to their own devices and having to fend for themselves". This was after they had canvassed their customers who told them a NZ based email platform was an essential service they expected from their broadband provider. Now we are going to get bombarded by adverts on an email service provider owned offshore which is inferior to what we have enjoyed unless you want to pay up to US$49.95 per year to upgrade to a premium service. Will Vodafone compensate their customers for all the hastle, inconvenience etc by reducing their yearly brodband/landline charges by about NZ$70.00. After all they are making huge savings by not having to maintain the service. C'mon Mike, how about putting this to the "Powers that be" ?

I cannot seem to add gmail or yahoo address's to outlook 2011 on my iMac or windows 10 computer running outlook 365.
I get this every time.
The server for account "Yahoo" returned the error "[AUTHENTICATIONFAILED] LOGIN Invalid credentials." Your username/password or security settings may be incorrect. Would you like to try re-entering your password?
My username and password are correct!!!???

I have received an email from VF to an email alias I didn't even know I had but I have not received an email from VF to my main email address (the original Paradise.net.nz email address). Nor have I received any emails from VF to the three other email addresses (aliases) that my family members regularly use.
Can I expect to receive emails from VF to these addresses too?
Will my main Paradise email adddress and all of the email aliases all continue to be forwarded to my new gmail address by VF after closure when someone sends an email to those addresses?
