3 WEEKS AND STILL WAITING FOR BROADBAND CONNECTION

We moved house 3 weeks ago and we still haven't been connected, Vodafone cannot tell us when we this will happen as they are waiting on a technician. Do they NOT have a schedule of when technicians are available?! Surely an estimated timeframe can be given? Have told my husband to switch providers IMMEDIATELY!
