Have a Samsung S5 unlocked phone I bought while living in the USA. Ever since I've been on networks (2 degrees and vodafone) here I have been unable to receive or send MMS. Have been into the vodafone centres but no answers. Have recently seen a similar question on google and person was told it could be their APN on their phone.
Have gone to mine and looked at the settings for APN
MMSC not set
MM proxy not set
MM port not set
are these missing information?

Hi there. Vodafone is the APN used to access the internet
For MMS you want live.vodafone.com

This link can also be used to automatically configure your device via an SMS:
Works on *most* phones but can't be garaunteed with devices purchased overseas.

Just tested mine to make sure it worked (new phone) which sent successfully
This is what I have in my own phone (Galaxy S7)
Note fields which I haven't put below are ones which dont have to be set e.g username etc.
Access Point Name VFNZ PXT
MMS proxy: 172.30.38.3
MMS Port: 8080
Authentication Type: PAP
APN Type: MMS
APN Protocal IPv4
Enable/Disiable APN - greyed out

That doesn't work at all, as the security question,ie " what are the following characters " is faulty!
