Samsung Galaxy SIII Mini GT I8190N Sudden Death

This morning after fully charging the battery, checked the Vodafone Friday offers, accepted one, browsed Facebook, then closed the cover.

Twenty minutes later, founfd the phone had switched off.

Pushed the power button, held it, nothing happened.

Took the battery out, depressed the power button for a couple of minutes, then put in another fully charged battery, but still , nothing happened when the power button was depressed.

Tried pressing and holding,  all together, the power, home and volume down buttons.

The phone model logo, that usd to appear, prior to the phone booting up, has appeared, stays on for 10 seconds, disappears for 3 seconds, then reappears for 10 seconds.

This just keeps repeating.

Does anyone know how to fix this and/or how to retrieve data ?

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Hi @rockya,

It might pay to give this a try: http://www.hard-reset.com/samsung-galaxy-s3-mini-hard-reset.html

If that doesnt work you may want to call Samsung on 0800 726786 (24/7) for further advice.

It sounds like the phone could be dead Smiley Sad

Thanks

Vodafone were unable to re-set it. Motherboard was apparently fried. Purchased a new Samsung Galaxy A3 as a replacement
