FYI

On Friday 14th October, the US Department of Transportation (DOT), Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and the Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (PHMSA) announced a formal ban of Note7 from air transport in the USThis came into effect yesterday, 15th October.

Subsequently, Air New Zealand has announced a travel alert and will not allow Note7 devices onboard their aircraft.

We strongly advise all Samsung Note7 customers to return their device to the place of purchase immediately. Vodafone’s Note7 customers will be issued with a $100 credit to compensate them for the stress and inconvenience of having to replace and/or return their device. A range of options exist for Vodafone customers including a full refund, a refund towards an alternative Samsung device or any other device that is in stock. More details here

If customers have any questions about the return of their Note 7, they can talk to a team member at any Vodafone store, or call our Customer Care team: 777 from your Vodafone mobile, or 0800 800 021 from any phone.
