Can you please tell me when the 2 g network will be disabled. I have trackers that use this network and track any theft of my beehives. After loosing $54.000.00 to theives I really need to know my trackers will still work and for how long.

Thanks in advance

@Beelady

There are no plans to retire the 2G network in the immediate future. And we're also working on the Internet of things, which will support networked activities like your beehives!

Hope that helps.

Next question.

I regard to sim cards:

Will the new simcards purchased work on the 2 G network. For instance the new card I have purchased the number starts 029129  my origional simcard is 0211

I understand that technology moves forward but Are 2 g simcards still available for purchase if this situation develops?
